What the science says

Collagen is the most abundant fibrous protein in the interstitial ECM and constitutes 30% of the body's proteins and 70% of the skin. It is found in all connective tissues, tendons, ligaments, bones, muscle, skin, hair and nails. Collagen helps maintain skin elasticity and joint mobility. It also serves as an anchor for calcium to bones and the formation of strong, functional muscles.
